Co-owner, how to put a question on the agenda of the next meeting?

You must send your request to the syndic of the co-ownership, by registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt.
The syndic is obliged to put the question on the agenda of the next meeting. However, if the request is made late, the matter will be placed on the agenda of the nextmeeting.

In some cases, you must indicate in your letter the draft resolution that you are submitting to themeeting. This will be the case, for example, if your question concerns :

  • - the payment of provisions in the provisional budget and their due date,
  • - the payment of funds for expenses not included in the provisional budget,
  • - the realization of accessibility works for persons with reduced mobility by the syndicate of co-owners or by yourself,
  • - decisions falling under majority 25 or 26 of the law regulating co-ownership,
  • - etc.

And you must attach a document specifying the scope and location of the work, if you are requesting authorization to carry out at your own expense :

  • - work affecting the common areas or the exterior appearance of the building,
  • - accessibility work for disabled persons.
